Recipe: Colorado Peach BBQ Sauce
Autumn is just around the corner here in Colorado, and that means the end of summer, and the end of peach season. This simple, easy-to-make barbecue sauce is a perfect use for those last ripe peaches on hand, and goes beautifully with pastured pork carnitas (see recipe below).

Recipe: Colorado Peach BBQ Sauce
yield: 2-4 servings
equipment: pot or pan; blender
time: 10-15 minutes to prep and cook + 10-15 minutes to cool
ingredients:
5 ripe Colorado peaches, peeled and cut into small pieces
`1/2 cup ketchup
3 oz dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
method:
Blend all ingredients together. Bring to boil. Let cool to room temperature. Use as sauce for pulled pork or as desired! Holds in fridge up to 2 weeks.
